LIST OF ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR THE 2024 TLS GENERAL ELECTION

Dear Valued members,

Greetings from the Tanganyika Law Society Electoral Committee.

Please find the attached list of eligible candidates for the Society General Elections, 2024 for your information.

Please be informed that eligible candidates for various positions may commence their campaigns from Saturday, 6th July 2024` to Thursday, 1st  August 2024 at 6:00 PM for General Elections; from Saturday, 6th  to Tuesday, 30th July 2024 at 6:00 PM for both Association of Young Lawyers Election and Chapter Zones’ Elections.   All persons involved in the election process are urged to observe the TLS Elections Regulations and the Committee Guidelines on Conduct of Elections campaign in carrying out their campaigning.

The Electoral Committee wishes to inform all members affected by the vetting process and who wish to file appeal relating to the candidature of any member to file their appeals in writing to the Tanganyika Law Society Electoral Appeals Committee. All appeals must reach the Secretary of the Committee, Mr. Nelson Frank not later than Wednesday, 26^th June, 2024 at 05:00pm.
