REQUEST TO NOMINATE ADVOCATES FOR ADVOCATE’S AWARDS EVENT

As per The Tanganyika Law Society (TLS) Annual Conference, General Meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held at Jakaya Kikwete Convention Center (JKCC) in Dodoma from Thursday 01st to 03rd August 2024, we are writing to inform you about Awards Event organized by The TLS Members Welfare, Advocate Remuneration, Senior Advocates and Awards Committee approve by TLS Governing Council.
To ensure success, innovation, best practices in the legal profession, acknowledge the exemplary contributions and achievement of our esteemed advocates, The TLS Members Welfare, Advocate Remuneration, Senior Advocates and Awards Committee has taken the initiative to recognize and honor outstanding advocates in various categories as follows:
- Outstanding Legal Advocate (Male) Award
- Outstanding Legal Advocate (Female) Award
- Community Service Award
- Legal Innovation Award
- Young Lawyer (Male) of the Year Award
- Young Lawyer (Female) of the Year Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Advocate with Disability (Active in Practice)
- Lawyers Choice Award
- Active Lawyer in TLS Activities Award
The Winners of awards categories will have the honor of receiving their trophies from our distinguished guest of honor of the TLS Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting.
In light of this, we kindly request all members to nominate advocates whom they believe deserve recognition in these categories before 21st June, 2024. Your nominations will play a crucial role in identifying deserving candidates for the awards.
