TLS Financial Statements 2022

Good evening  Members.

Reference is made to the upcoming Annual Conference, General Meeting and the Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held in Arusha from Thursday, 11th through Saturday, 13th May 2023 at the AICC; and the Pre-AGM events such as CLE Seminars and AYL and Chapter Zones Annual Meetings and Elections scheduled to be held in Arusha at the Lush Garden Hotel from Monday, 08th through to Wednesday, 10th May, 2023.

The Tanganyika Law Society (Meeting) Regulations GN 523 of 2020 provides that the documents for the meeting should be circulated to members 14 days before the Meeting. In compliance with the law, the Council directed the Secretariat to send to you the attached documents of the meeting for your reading in advance of the Meeting. However, the Audited Financial Report for the year 2022 was not ready by the time other documents were sent because the Auditor was still working on it as communicated earlier. The Audited Financial Report for the year 2022 has been finalized by the External auditor and approved by the Council and it is attached herein for your perusal and reference.
