Call for Comments: The 2nd EAC Rule of Law Index

Warm greetings from the East Africa Law Society.

The East Africa Law Society is in the process of developing the 2nd EAC Rule of Law Index. This index measures the performance of East African Partner States in four key parameters being: Good Governance, Access to Justice, Absence of Corruption and Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. The Index is expected to provide valuable data and information which will be utilised to promote adherence to the rule of law in East Africa.

To ensure its accuracy and effectiveness, we invite you to review and share comments on the attached draft index. Your professional insights will be instrumental in refining the index.

Your feedback will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will be used solely for the development of the Rule of Law Index.

Thank you for your valuable contribution to this important initiative. We shall appreciate your written comments by 17th September 2024 via email  aromward@ealawsociety.org
