List of Nominees for 2023 TLS General Elections and Notice of Extension of Deadline for receiving Nominations.

Greetings from the Electoral Committee of the Tanganyika Law Society.

Reference is made to the Call for Nomination that was issued on 02nd February 2023 through the TLS official media and Mwananchi Newspaper.

The following is the list of nominees for various positions received as of Wednesday, 22nd  February 2023 for your information.

Following the closing of the nominations period and having assessed sufficiency of the number of nominated candidates, the Electoral Committee concluded that there were not enough candidates to take to Election in respect of all positions. With such fact, the Electoral Committee has decided to extend the deadline for receiving nominations in respect of all electoral positions as provided in the attached Notice of Extension of deadline for receiving nominations.

Members are hereby informed that the deadline for receiving nomination has been extended to Friday, 3rd March 2023 at 05.00 PM.

Kindly send your nomination and the CV of the nominee to Mr. Nelsonnn Frank, Secretary of the Electoral Committee via nfrank@tls.or.tz copy to: info@tls.or.tz

For those whose nominations have already been submitted to the Secretariat, nominees are requested to send to Mr. Nelson Frank their CVs and for the position of the Honorary Treasurer, a copy of certificate or other document evidencing that the nominee has the requirements needed for the position of Honorary Treasurer.
