 List of Candidates selected to Contest for various positions at the Tanganyika Law Society Elections for the year 2023.

Please be informed that candidates who have been vetted for various positions may commence their campaigns from 27th March, 2023` up to Thursday, 11st May, 2023 for General Elections; Thursday, 13th  or Friday, 14th  April 2023 for Chapters’ elections; Monday, 8th May 2023 for Association of Young Lawyers Elections and Tuesday, 9th May 2023 for Chapter Zones’ Elections.

All persons involved in the election process are urged to observe the TLS Elections Regulations and the Committee Guidelines on Conduct of Elections campaign in carrying out their campaigning.

Please be informed further that all Chapters and Chapters Zones’ elective positions without candidates will be submitted to the members during their respective Annual Meeting for deliberations.

The Electoral Committee wishes to inform all members affected by the vetting process and who wish to file an objection relating to the candidature of any member to lodge their objection in writing to the Electoral Committee. All objections must reach the Secretary of the Committee, Mr. Nelson Frank not later than Friday, 24th March, 2023 at 05:00pm.
