DEADLINE FOR RENEWAL OF PRACTISING CERTIFICATE FOR THE YEAR 2024

REMINDER!

Dear Valued Member, 

This is a reminder to the members who have not yet renewed their Practicing Certificates for the year 2024.  

As per Section 38 (2 ) of the Advocates Act, Cap 341 provides that “Every certificate shall continue in force from the day on which it has been taken or takes effect in accordance with this section until the thirty-first day of December next following (both days inclusive) and shall then expire”

Please be reminded that by not renewing your Practicing Certificate, you will not be allowed to enter an appearance in the Courts of law or tribunals or to perform any duty as a Practicing or Notary Advocate.

We further wish to remind you that, you are required to have a minimum of 10 CLE points to qualify for renewal of Practicing Certificate for the year 2024 as provided under Regulations 26, 31, and 32 of the CLE Regulation, 2012 save for those who are exempted under Reg. 27 of the said Regulation.
