This is a polite reminder to the members who have not yet renewed their Practicing Certificates for this year, that the deadline for the renewal is on 30th June, 2021.

Those who will not renew their Practicing Certificates by the end of June, will be included in the list of defaulters and will have to seek approval to the Chief Justice for renewal of their Practicing Certificates.

Kindly, take note that without renewing your Practicing Certificate you are not allowed to enter appearance in the Courts of law, Tribunals or to perform any duty as a Practicing or Notary Advocate.

We further wish to remind you that, you are required to have minimum of 10 CLE points to qualify for renewal of Practicing Certificate for the year 2021 as provided under Regulation 26, 31 and 32 of the CLE Regulation, 2012 save for those who are exempted under Reg.27 of the said Regulation. As per Regulation members with less than 10 points will not be allowed to renew their Practicing Certificates without valid and concrete reasons with evidence.
