The Tanganyika Law Society considers that Legal Aid Service is an essential facet of the Law Society’s services. Lawyers possess unique skills and abilities to serve persons of limited means and to promote the public interest in ways that no other profession can. TLS members have a legal duty, as professionals, to contribute to the welfare of the community, by assisting the public in all matters relating to or ancillary to the law. This includes broadening the overall commitment to access to justice for all people.
Towards fulfillment of its ambition, The Tanganyika Law Society calls for twenty (20) advocates who will provide legal aid services during Saba Saba Exhibition from 28th June to 8th July 2018 in which each day there will be two advocates. The Organization will provide lunch and two (2) CLE Points for members who will attend.
Interested Advocates are encouraged to register their names, proposed dates for the attendance and roll number through firstname.lastname@example.org and copy to email@example.com. For any queries kindly contact Miss Rose Salvatory – 0779 626281.
Deadline for submitting applications is 20th June 2018.
